تخبرك الأيّام أن الآجال أقرب مما يجري فِي وهمك، تمسي على خبر وفاة وتصبح على خبر وفاة، وتعلم أنك ستكون يومًا مكان الراحلين، لا تدري، ربّما لا يكون ذلك بعيدًا، ربما لم يبق في كتابك إلا يوميّات أو سويعات أو دقائق أو ربّما أقل من ذلك..
لا يعلم الغيب إلا اللّٰه سبحانه وتعالى(أو لم ينظروا في ملكوت السماوات والأرض وما خلق الله من شيء وأن عسى أن يكون قد اقترب أجلهم)..
وإن فِي ذلك لذكرى -لو تدبَّرت- تصغر عندها عظائم الدُّنيا وإن جَلَّت، فاللّهُم أحسن عاقبتنا فِي الأمور كلها، وأجِرنا من خزي الدُّنيا وعذاب الآخرة، واختم بالصَّالحات أعمالنا، وأحسن وفادتنا يوم العرض عليك، فاطرَ السماوات والأرض، أنت ولينا فِي الدُّنيا والآخرة، توفنا مسلمين وألحقنا بالصالحين وإنّا لله وإنّا إليه راجعون .
